Classic storybook engine, Thomas the Tank Engine, is set to roll into Boothbay Railway Village for the Day Out With Thomas 2008: The Great Discovery Tour. This fun-filled event offers preschoolers and their families the opportunity to take a ride with a 15-ton replica of Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friendsâ„¢ series. Other activities include the chance to meet Sir Tophamm Hatt, arts & crafts, storytelling, video viewing, and live music.
